You'll work closely with teaching staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, providing assistance with personal care, behaviours management, and educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with special needs, including personal care tasks.
  • Assisting teaching staff in implementing education plans and behavioural interventions.
  • Facilitating classroom activities and supporting students in their learning journey.
  • Building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to promote a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with special needs preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in caregiving or education are advantageous but not essential
  • 6 Months Minimum working within the care sector
