Responsibilities for a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide individual and group support to students with mental health, behaviour, or emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to create personalized intervention plans.
- Deliver workshops on stress management, resilience, and social-emotional skills.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.
- Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and support strategies.
Qualifications for a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.
- Knowledge of developmental psychology, counselling techniques, and behaviour management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
