Exceptional History Teacher Wanted!

Tradewind Recruitment are actively searching for an enthusiastic History Teacher for an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in the Maidstone area. The role is a September start and will be until the end of the calendar year with the view of extending beyond! The role will be full time with a salary of between £30,000 and £41,333 depending on experience.

The role:

• Create and deliver lesson plans across KS3 and KS4 ensuring all abilities and needs are met
• Foster a deep appreciation for History and its relevance to the modern world
• Track and monitor progress to ensure all students reach their full potential
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience in teaching History across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent behaviour management
• Strong communication skills
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
