Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £90 - £120 Per day

Job Duties:

• Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers
• Ensuring all students are engaged in set activities
• Maintaining a positive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour
• Assisting with the distribution and collection of learning materials

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Education:

• Minimum of GCSE level education

Experience:

• Prior experience working with children or young adults
• Experience in a classroom setting is desirable but not essential

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of classroom dynamics
• Effective classroom management skills
• Basic knowledge of educational principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid training

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, typically during school hours
• Temporary position based on the needs of the school
• Frequent standing and walking within the classroom setting
