Coba Education are seeking a Design Technology Teacher to fulfil a full time position in a North Bedfordshire Secondary School. This role is to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will play a key role in educating and inspiring students in the field of design and technology. This will include the responsibility of developing and delivering engaging lessons, fostering creativity, and providing hands-on learning experiences.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and delivering lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
  • Teaching various aspects of design and technology
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their interests and develop their skills.
  • Utilising a variety of instructional methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Providing constructive feedback and assessment to students to support their growth and progress.
  • Keeping up to date with advancements in design technology tools, software, and techniques, and incorporate relevant updates into teaching practices.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) / ECT or relevant teaching qualification, showcasing your expertise in design and technology education.
  • Previous experience within a school environment demonstrating your role within design and technology.
