SEN Teacher

Remedy are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join a school and make a positive impact on the lives of our students with special educational needs.


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30pm
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000

Key Responsibilities:


- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive and reach their full potential.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and make adaptations to curriculum materials to accommodate students' learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure coordinated support for students with SEN.
- Monitor and track student's progress, providing regular feedback to inform future teaching and support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress, behaviour, and achievements.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
- Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies, interventions, and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in education.
