The School and Role

This large two-from entry school in Aigburth, Liverpool, are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic teacher to work in a Year 6 class on a full-time basis.  The role will start at the beginning of the next academic year in September 2024 and will be ongoing.  The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years teaching experience and must also have experience of preparing children for SATs.  Enthusiastic and creative teaching staff are supported by a strong senior leadership team, all delivering in classrooms focused on maintaining a positive atmosphere for children and practitioners alike.  This very successful school's ethos is summarised in their school motto – Building Bright Futures.  They aim to create a secure, caring and stimulating learning environment in which everyone can develop and do well.  To this end, they share a commitment to achieving the highest possible academic standards, alongside the development of their children as confident, caring and responsible citizens.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
