Location: Grantham
Salary: £75 - £95 per day

GSL Education are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support specialist to join our partnered school in Grantham. This role demands a proactive individual committed to assisting students in overcoming behavioural challenges and achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing behaviour management strategies to support a positive learning environment.
  • Working closely with students to identify triggers and develop coping mechanisms.
  • Liaising with teachers, SENCO, and parents to provide consistent support to students.
  • Documenting progress and any incidents to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each student's needs.
  • Contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring tailored support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a behaviour support role within a school setting.
  • A strong understanding of the strategies effective in managing challenging behaviours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students positively.
  • Resilience and patience, coupled with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable.
