About the role

The desired Maths Teacher will have experience of working within a school environment and be comfortable supervising pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). The successful candidate will work to create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to take risks and explore new ideas.

You will support students of all abilities to access challenging and complex mathematical problems and concepts, whilst ensuring the diverse needs and learning styles of your students are met. Ideally, the successful Maths Teacher will be eager to be involved in the schools community and supporting students in extracurricular activities such as Maths Club.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher - September Start you will:

  • Have experience working in a secondary setting
  • Have or working towards QTS
  • Hold a relevant degree qualification
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
  • Be willing to take part in professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and practices
  • Have/or willing to pay for an Enhanced DBS on the update service

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Have or working towards QTS
