Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Student Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, assisting with understanding lesson content.

Resource Preparation: Collaborate with teachers to prepare and organise activities, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students.

Inclusive Education: Create an inclusive classroom environment by helping students with diverse needs, ensuing everyone has the opportunity to thrive both academically and socially.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour and achievements, contributing to the assessment and feedback process.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Enhanced DBS Check
• Relevant teaching or education qualifications or experience within a school setting.
• Demonstrate a caring and patient attitude and have a genuine desire to support students in their educational journey.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
