Nursery Room Leader

We are working with a newly acquired nursery that works with children up to 5 years old in Lewisham looking to add a Nursery Room Leader to the team.
Working with a tight knit team, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific group or classroom of children. This role involves planning and implementing educational activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and supervising other staff members in the room. The children at the nursery can take play to another level with spacious rooms and plenty of natural light.
As well as being close to many public transport options you can also find many activities close by that the children can get engaged with. They often go out and about in the local community and meet some wonderful people.

Responsibilities:
- Foster a love of learning and creativity through play-based experiences.
- Lead and supervise children within the nursery.
- Full understanding of nursery setting pathways.
- Ensure the safety, health, and hygiene of the children.
- Minimum of a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NNEB).
- Previous experienced leading a team at a nursery.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Build rapport in a friendly manner.
