Primary SEN Teacher - Work in SEN class - min 3 days aweek or more

We’re working with a SEN school in the L15 area of Liverpool , who are looking for a strong Primary Teacher .There is 5 -7 children in the class who have 1-2-1 support. You will be given full tranining and on your furst week starting in the role, you will be supported by a senior experienced Teaching Assistants.

The school has outstanding facilities including sensory room, cooking area, soft play area , hydro pool. There is a lot of activity play and outdoor activities including academic learning in the classroom too

As the Primary Teacher you will be working with students with varying needs and abilities, so it is important to be confident with children with additional needs. This is full-time position Monday – Thursday (phone number removed)pm and Friday the school finishes at 1.30pm

We have experienced Primary Teachers and SEN Teachers work in the school in a lot of day to day and short/long terms roles and we receive excellent feedback from staff , confirming that the school is ran excellently and there is so much support whilst in the role by the staff and Senior team. You will 100% gain additional SEN experience

Key Responsibilities:

* Teaching a lot of activities based learning and Tailored curriculum
* Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils
* Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
* Confident in SEN and De-escalation techniques

Required Skills & Experience:

* EYFS- KS2 experience in Primary and Sen experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Good organisational and time-management skills.
* Energy, enthusiasm, patience, dedication, resilience, and self-discipline.
