Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a passion for inspiring young minds? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join our outstanding team in Wandsworth. As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a vital role in guiding and nurturing our students through their formative years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and challenging lessons for Key Stage 2 students.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and independent learning.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment and tracking of student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure curriculum continuity and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote a respectful and positive atmosphere.
  • Develop students' literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills through engaging activities and differentiated instruction.
  • Organize and participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective pedagogical approaches.
  • Exceptional classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and structured learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and staying abreast of educational advancements.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
