Job Description:

Are you a passionate and nurturing educator with a love for early childhood education? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our vibrant team in Wandsworth. As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing young learners with a strong foundation for their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes curiosity and exploration.
  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for EYFS students.
  • Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
  • Build positive relationships with students and their families, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support for individual growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and enriching EYFS curriculum.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies that promote a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities and events that enhance the EYFS experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in early childhood education.
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early years teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with young children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Creativity, patience, and a nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with early childhood education trends.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance the EYFS learning experience.
