Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEND TA to work in a local primary school in Withywood on a full-time basis starting as soon possible.

About the role

The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will:

• Have experience of working with primary school aged children

• Support pupils who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

• Be able to engage pupils with learning activities

• Have a passion for the progress of primary school pupils

• Be able to manage behaviour effectively

The local primary school in Withywood boasts modern facilities, outside space and a well-established, dedicated team of staff. The school is seeking a SEND TA who is proactive, reliable and who adapts their approach to support the needs of children. Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND TA you will:

• Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Have caring and nurturing qualities
• Be a motivated, dedicated and resilient person
• Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• to have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
