Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
  • Utilise diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Implement the approved curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and objectives.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with parents to support student development.
  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary school level.
  • Strong passion for education and a commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
