About the role

Supporting pupils development of skills in literacy, numeracy, communication and social and behavioural needs.

Suggesting appropriate adjustments for individuals.

Clarifying instructions.

Motivate and inspire pupils.

Assisting in behaviour management.

Promoting independence and supporting with physical needs.

Listening to problems and promoting wellbeing

About the school

Situated in Stroud, this school offers a broad range of learning activities as well as individualised activities to support the education and wellbeing of each pupil. Students will have a range of Special Educational Needs that require a patient, nurturing Individual to support them.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant SEND you will:

  • Be compassionate, understanding and caring
  • Be flexible, proactive and a team player.
  • Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people.
  • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
