Secondary Cover Supervisor

Protocol Education is working alongside a Wiltshire based secondary school to appoint a self motivated and resourcful Cover Supervisor to join their teaching team. 

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: Dependent on experience/qualifications - ALL VERY COMPETITIVE 

Hours: 08.30 - 15.30 - Both full and part time options considered

Over the last few years, the role of a Cover Supervisor has become essential in secondary education. Giving the schools confident, committed and trusted individuals from relevant backgrounds/experience to work across the school and across subject areas. Your role will involve effectively managing the classroom, maintaining discipline, and delivering pre-planned lessons as mentioned. Your ability to be adaptable and open-minded will be crucial in creating a positive and conducive learning environment for students.

While no specific qualifications are required, schools highly desire candidates with qualifications related to education. However, what is essential is your experience working with secondary students and teaching various subjects. Whether you have worked as a teaching assistant, tutor, or have hands-on experience in a similar role (Coaching, Youth Work etc), your expertise in working with secondary students will be highly valued.
