Are you a Level 3 qualified and experienced nursery nurse looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic educational setting? Look no further!

I am seeking a passionate and dedicated nursery nurse to join our pre-school team. From April 2024, on a full-time basis. As a nursery nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting our leading practitioners in creating a stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

The ideal nursery nurse will possess a unique blend of qualities, skills, and characteristics that contribute to creating a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children.

You must have a passion for Early Years Education and be committed to providing the best possible start to their educational journey. You must hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education and have relevant experience working in a pre-school or nursery setting. The ideal candidate’s qualifications equip them with a solid understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Having excellent communication skills is key when working as part of a team & support young learners, both verbal and non-verbal, enabling you to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Clear communication fosters positive relationships and ensures effective collaboration in supporting children's development.

The pre-school team are seeking someone who is creative and resourceful in designing and implementing engaging activities that stimulate children's curiosity, creativity, and imagination. You are ideally able to confidently adapt activities to cater to individual interests, abilities, and learning styles.

The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills and use these to assess children's progress, identify areas of development, and plan appropriate interventions. They must understand the importance of documentation and use observations to inform planning and decision-making.

The pre-school team are looking for a nursery nurse who works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to provide holistic support to children and their families. They must contribute positively to the team dynamic, sharing ideas, offering support, and celebrating successes together.

As a nursery nurse working with young children, you serve as a positive role models for young children, exhibiting kindness, respect, and integrity in their interactions. You must in still values such as empathy, cooperation, and resilience through their words and actions, shaping children's social and emotional development.

Overall, the ideal nursery nurse in a pre-school setting is someone who is passionate, patient, and dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years / Childcare - candidates lacking the required qualification will not be considered
  • Experience on 6+ months working in a nursery or school setting.
  • DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • Safeguarding trained (we offer free CPD)
  • Prevent Duty trained (we offer free CPD)
  • FGM trained (we offer free CPD)
  • Every candidate is required to provide 24 months of references.
