Vocational Tutor (Level 3) – Cumbria & Lancs

Location: Various locations across Cumbria and Lancashire

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £28-30,000

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Tutor with expertise in supporting learners across multiple disciplines, including Customer Services, Business Admin, Work Skills, Retail, Health & Social Care, and functional skills. Our centers provide a nurturing environment where learners can efficiently achieve high-quality qualifications. As a Level 3 Tutor, you will facilitate the learning journey of our clients' learners, ensuring their success in obtaining advanced or specialized qualifications.

Role Overview:

· Promote learning opportunities and recruit learners to suitable provision.

· Identify individuals' training needs, record them in training plans, and adjust delivery accordingly.

· Instruct learners to meet qualification standards effectively.

· Assess learner proficiency against course syllabi and qualification standards.

· Liaise with other Training staff to obtain suitable project work for learners.

· Conduct regular reviews of learners' progress to ensure they are on track.

· Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and learner progress.

· Develop partnerships with local partners to promote our work.

· Experience supporting vocational qualifications delivery and testing

· Assessor Qualification or willingness to work towards it

· Functional Skills Level 3 in Maths/English/ICT

· Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS or equivalent)

· GCSE English Language or equivalent (Grade A*-C)

· Competency in Health & Social Care, Team Leading & Management, Warehousing, or hospitality desirable

· IQA qualification desirable

The successful candidate may be required to work from any of our clients' other Centers across Cumbria or Lancashire. This role will require an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
