Teaching Personnel are working with several schools in the Bridport area that require Teaching Assistants on a supply and cover basiss.
This would be a great opportunity to for someone looking to gain more experience within the Education setting along side studies or even for someone that may be semi retired and hoping to keep foot in the sector.
Teaching Assistant Role:
- Working on Day to Day, Block booking and Long-Term bookings.
- Various schools across the area.
- Choose the days/hours you want to work.
- Possibility of working across all year groups within a primary setting.
- Possibiltiy of working 1:1 with children with challenging behaviour or low level SEN Requirements.
Duties:
- Supporting the class teacher with getting pupils engaged and included in lesson plan.
- Helping pupils on a 1:1 basis.
- Creating a warm and welcoming learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or vulnerable adults.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding.
- Enhanced Shild only DBS that is registered with the update service. (Teaching Personnel can assist with this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
