TeacherActive are excited to be working with a large secondary school in the Exeter area. The Senior Leadership Team are looking for an English Teacher to join them on a long term, full time basis. You will need to have a secure knowledge of the subject and curriculum area, fostering pupils’ interest.

The successful English Teacher will need to:

• Hold QTS with an English specialism (Early Careers Teachers / ECT are also encouraged to apply)
• Have experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (experience teaching at KS5 advantageous)
• Build relationships rooted in mutual respect
• Have high expectations of behaviour, using praise, sanctiona and rewards consistently and fairly
