Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching History in Tower Hamlets?
Tradewind are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging and effective teacher of History to start a new teaching role in April 2024.
Our client is looking to appoint a fully qualified Teacher of History to teach across the full age and ability range. NQT's are welcome to apply. You will be joining a progressive and dynamic department that achieves strong outcomes 'above average' in both GCSE and A Levels.
They are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about History Education
- Communicate effectively with all staff, students, and parents
- Raise aspirations, expectations, and achievement of all students regardless of ability
- Be a team player and go the extra mile to uphold school values
- Be able to teach History to all age groups, fulfilling all responsibilities of a teacher of History.
- Plan, resource and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard, thereby ensuring meaningful learning takes place and pupils make rapid and sustained progress
- Develop one's own teaching practice to a level of advanced proficiency
- Fully implement all routines and techniques for creating a culture of high expectations
- Contribute to the enrichment, extra-curricular and raising aspirations programmes
- Provide daily pastoral tutoring to a cohort of pupils
