Our dynamic SEN school in Newham, managed by Tradewind Recruitment, is seeking a passionate individual to join our team after April half term. This long-term role, spanning 5 days per week, is dedicated to supporting students with complex needs, including Autism, across Key Stage 1 (KS1). Your daily hours will be from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, allowing ample time to make a meaningful impact during the school day.

As an essential member of our community, you'll play a crucial role in re-engaging children who have faced barriers to education due to the complexity of their needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one support to KS1 students with complex needs
• Assisting in planning and delivering individualised and group learning activities
• Helping pupils identify and overcome barriers to learning
• Encouraging self-regulation through nurturing and reflection
• Cultivating pride in achievements and fostering curiosity
• Promoting a sense of responsibility in their learning journey
• Creating an enjoyable and imaginative learning environment to reignite their passion for learning
