Early Years Teaching Assistant (Part-time, Temporary)

£416.65 - £450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A two-form entry Primary School situated in the West of Newcastle are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to work part-time, commencing ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be working within a Nursery class and expected to work afternoons only, 12:30pm-15:30pm. The Early Years team work closely to promote a love for learning through creative opportunities. This is a long-term position, with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

-          Preferably have experience of supporting in Early Years.

-          Preferably hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

-          Be able to support pupils through offering differentiated learning.

-          Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-          A friendly and enthusiastic personality.
