Secondary Academic Mentor

We are searching for a confident, dedicated and hardworking Academic Support Mentor to join their team in Camden. This role will include working along side KS3, KS4 and KS5 students to help support and encourage their learning and also to help develop happy and confident students with various SEN needs.

This school push for all their staff and students to be compassionate, respectful and have responsibility for their own learning however the students you will be working with, will need extra help and support to achieve their best.

About the role as an Academic Support Mentor:

• To complete workshops 1-2-1 and in groups to those with various SEN needs
• Working with KS3, KS4 and KS5 students to help their learning and development
• Tailoring your approach based on each students needs
• To use creative and imaginative methods to help support students in their education.
• Start ASAP
• £95 to £105 day rate Monday to Friday.
• Long term full time - till the end of the academic year
• Located in Camden

Academic Support Mentor candidate specification:

• Previous experience working with children
• Confident and enthusiastic personality
• Graduate with a 1st class or 2:1
• Strong and flexible communication skills
• A genuine passion for teaching and learning
