Milk Education are recruiting on behalf of a school in Liverpool who require a Teacher of English to join their successful and enthusiastic department, this role is Full Time, unti the end of the academic year.

The candidate should be well motivated and energetic with a willingness to contribute to the development of the subject, the quality of teaching and the pastoral life with the School. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across KS3 and KS4. Experience of delivering KS3 literacy interventions and/or primary experience would be looked on favourably. Experience of teaching KS5 English Language would also be an advantage.

Qualities you will have:

* A degree, or equivalent experience, with a teaching qualification.

* Proven ability to teach outstanding lessons across the 11-18 age range, with first class classroom management skills.

* The ability to work in collaboration with other members of staff to further the department.

* Exceptional personal organisation and time management skills.

* A firm understanding of key national and educational policies and issues.

* The ability to inspire high achievement in young people from all backgrounds.

* A clear commitment to improving your own and others’ performance through effective continuous professional development.
