Winner Education are seeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager for a large nursery setting based in the Finchley area. Our client has an outstanding reputation and is dedicated to revolutionising early childhood education in the UK. This a full time, permanent position with an immediate start required.

SALARY – Up to £38,000

HOURS – Full time

LOCATION – Finchley, North London

START DATE – ASAP

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the nursery setting
• Contribute to the overall success of the nursery
• Ensure every child receives the care and education they require
• Work closely with the senior management team by contributing to SLT meetings, development and execution of curriculum plans
• Lead a team of practitioners by example
• Maintain the highest standards of polices, procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment
• Build positive relationships with parents
• Lead on staff development in providing training and mentorship
• Provide cover in the absence of the Nursery Manager
• Part room based and part office based

The successful Deputy Nursery Manager will:

• Require a level 3 or above in Early Years
• Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
• Previous experience in management or leadership positions within early years
• Have a passion for developing children ready for their school journey
• Be resilient and strong-willed
• Have previous experience and preparation of Ofsted inspections
