Tradewind are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN School based in Wirral. This is a small SEN school, highly staffed with a well-established, experienced, relevantly qualified, and trained team. The School takes a personal approach and offers individualised Learning packages, incorporating a variety of therapies enabling youngsters to access the most appropriate curriculum for them, currently upto 74% of their learners have an individualised timetable.

The SEN Teaching Assistant role is to start immediately and is long-term, full-time role.

The ideal candidate would have experience working in a SEN setting but not essential. Must be willing to assist with personal care.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
