Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

As we continue to inspire young minds and cultivate a passion for learning, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview: We are in search of a motivated Teaching Assistant to support our teachers in delivering high-quality education to our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in assisting with classroom activities, providing individualised support, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and execute engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome learning obstacles and achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and encourages active participation.
  • Assist in the organisation and preparation of classroom materials, resources, and displays to enhance the learning experience.
  • Work closely with teachers and colleagues to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers to support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
