Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

As we continue to inspire young minds and promote a lifelong love of learning, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team.

Position Overview: We are searching for a motivated Teaching Assistant to assist our teachers in delivering exceptional education to our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting classroom activities, providing personalised assistance, and cultivating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students who require additional assistance, fostering their academic growth and development.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and encourages student participation.
  • Assist in the organisation and preparation of classroom materials, resources, and displays to enhance the learning experience.
  • Work closely with teachers and colleagues to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/carers to support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
