Role and Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in developing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies tailored to engage students and stimulate critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, specifically geared towards Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum standards.
  • Knowledgeable in employing teaching strategies that effectively support students from diverse backgrounds, promoting equity and inclusivity in the classroom environment.
  • Skilled in fostering positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to cultivate a collaborative educational community.
  • Committed to nurturing students' social-emotional well-being by integrating SEL principles into daily lessons and classroom interactions, with a focus on Key Stage 3 and 4 developmental needs.
  • Dedicated to maintaining a growth-oriented mindset, actively seeking opportunities for self-assessment, feedback, and professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness continually.
  • Willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives, committees, and professional learning communities to contribute to the improvement of school culture and instructional practices, specifically tailored to Key Stage 3 and 4 education
  • Proficient in crafting coherent and well-organised lesson plans aligned with Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum standards

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply
  • Be a committed team player
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Able to commute to and from Great Missenden and surrounding areas
