Key Responsibilities:

1. Support primary-aged students with severe learning difficulties and complex autism in their daily activities and learning tasks.
2. Work closely with the class teacher and other professionals to implement education care plans (ECP) and behaviour management strategies.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of each student.
4. Provide one-on-one and small group support, adapting to the varying needs of the students.
5. Collaborate with the school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to the child's development and well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, specifically within SEN settings.
• Understanding and experience working with primary-aged students with severe learning difficulties and complex autism.
• Relevant qualifications or training in supporting students with special educational needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with diverse needs.
