Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £110 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive have an amazing opportunity for a cover supervisor to work within local secondary schools in the Newcastle area. The schools are ambitious to achieve, with a strong focus on creating a culture of success and positivity towards learning.

We are currently seeking a dedicated cover supervisor who is able to supervise Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 students. As a cover supervisor you will have the guaranteed opportunity to support pupils with their learning and must hold a high level of profession within your role. The successful cover supervisor must be confident handling challenging behaviour, with the ability to offer additional support to students where required.

A successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Degree in education (desirable)
• Behavioural management experience (desirable)
• Excellent classroom management
• Clear understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
