The Role – SEN TA

I am actively recruiting for a friendly and energetic SEN TA to work with students who have Special Educational Needs in a SEN School. The role will require you to build a rapport with the students by providing academic and emotional support, encouraging them to engage in their lessons and take a more independent approach to their learning. Due to the student’s needs, the ideal SEN TA will need to be willing to take on challenges and must have experience working with children or young people who have Special Educational Needs as well as Learning Difficulties. This role may require you to work on a 1:1 or group basis, provide support within the classroom and requires a full-time commitment.

SEN School – SEN TA

This SEN school is located in the London Borough of Harrow and caters for students between the ages of 11-19 years who have various Special Educational Needs such as SLD, Visual Impairment, Other Difficulty/Disability, Hearing Impairment, SpLC, ASD, SEMH needs, Multi-Sensory Impairment, Physical Disability, Moderate Learning Difficulty, and PMLD. They currently have 56 students who attend the school and an Ofsted rating of ‘Outstanding’ in all areas from their last inspection in September 2019.
