Tradewind are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a SEMH School based in Warrington. The School offers a flexible approach to meeting the needs of young people who experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They are a 'specialist' environment for young people who find effective communication for many reasons, more challenging than most.

The role for a SEN Teaching Assistant is to start May and is a maternity cover however it could become a permanent role for the right person.

The ideal candidate would have a passion or experience of working with people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
