Requirements of a +16 SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities
- Ability to provide support in classroom activities and individualized learning programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities of a +16 SEND Teaching Assistant.
- Assist in implementing tailored learning plans for students with SEND
- Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the SEND Coordinator
