The School and Role 

This large, ‘Good’ secondary school, based in Bournemouth are looking to appoint a passionate Cover Supervisor to work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on a full time basis. Working in this secondary school as part of an established team, the desired Cover Supervisor will be responsible for leading lessons for approximately 30 children. The lessons will already be planned for you and provided to you in advance. It is your role as the Cover Teacher to facilitate the classes learning, management classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher . This full time Cover Supervisor role is long term and potentially permanent.

Requirements

The desired Cover Supervisor will have;

-          Experience of working with secondary aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND (desirable not essential)

-          A passion for the progress of Secondary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
