The School and Role 

This large, ‘Good’ primary school, based in Southampton are looking to appoint a passionate Behaviour Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in a Key Stage 1/Key Stage 2 class on a full time basis. Working in this primary school as part of an established team, the desired Behaviour Support Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis in KS1/KS2. This full time Behaviour Support Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.

Requirements

The desired Behaviour Support Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with children and adults with SEMH or/and challenging behaviour 

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
