Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA)

Location: Chapel-en-le-Frith
Salary: £86 - £110 per day

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support secondary pupils at our partnered school in Chapel-en-le-Frith. The successful candidate will work with Key Stage 3 and 4 students, providing academic and pastoral support to help them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting student learning
• Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by teaching staff
• Support students with behavioural or additional needs in managing their learning
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment within the school

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Resilience and ability to handle challenging situations effectively
• IT literacy and valid driver's license with business insurance
