Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with the Oldham LEA to introduce aspiring teachers in order to gain invaluable experience prior to completing a Secondary PGCE.

Job highlights:

-          Gain an introduction to a number of Oldham Secondary schools prior to completing PGCE

-          Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher, building upon behaviour management

-          Full time and part time opportunities available

-          Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis in class

-          £85 - £100 per day depending upon previous experience

Our client Secondary schools in Oldham are currently seeking to appoint Graduate teaching assistants of all subject specialisms to support pupils in the last term of the school year. As a Graduate teaching Assistant you will be responsible for delivering small intervention groups, for identified pupils who aren’t achieving to their target. You will also have the opportunity to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher, giving you the skills necessary to excel on an upcoming PGCE course.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
