Prospero Teaching are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be working in a SEN school in Crosby with a team that support their staff to succeed.

The successful candidate will have a level 3 qualification, and previous experience in an SEN or Support Work setting. You will also be resilient and confident leading groups of pupils.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Crosby
• Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
• Type of work - Long Term
• Start date - ASAP
• End date (if applicable) - Summer 2024
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £88 per day
• Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent is preferred
• Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
