Job Overview: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Secondary School Psychology Teacher to join our team in Bedford. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and impactful psychology lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality psychology lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring an inclusive and engaging learning experience.
  2. Student Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  3. Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies, provide constructive feedback, and track students' progress to ensure continuous improvement.
  4. Behaviour Management: Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, addressing any behavioral issues promptly and effectively.
  5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
  6. Professional Development: Stay abreast of educational trends and advancements in psychology education, participating in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a UK secondary school setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver effective and engaging psychology lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
