Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality psychology lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring an inclusive and engaging learning experience.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies, provide constructive feedback, and track students' progress to ensure continuous improvement.
- Behaviour Management: Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, addressing any behavioral issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a cohesive educational experience for students.
- Professional Development: Stay abreast of educational trends and advancements in psychology education, participating in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a UK secondary school setting.
- Proven ability to deliver effective and engaging psychology lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
