Dunbar Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistants to support local schools in Milton Keynes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEN.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide additional support tailored to their individual needs.
- Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Implement strategies and interventions outlined in individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
- Experience in a care or support worker background is advantageous.
- A compassionate and patient nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
