SEND Cover Supervisor

£120- 170 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

The School and Role:

This Large SEN School based in Leeds are looking to appoint a passionate and experienced cover supervisor to work with pupils aged 11-16 on a Full-Time basis with Temp to Perm opportunities. Working in this SEN School as part of an established team, the desired Cover Supervisor will be working with a high volume of staff in KS2 with pupils with complexed needs. This will require working with pupils on their education whilst, running a class of 8-11 and working with them on their educational progression and catering to their needs. The desired candidate will have previous knowledge of SEN and have at least 6 months experience of being a cover supervisor.

Requirements:

The desired Cover Supervisor will have;

• A passion for working with children with additional needs
• Experience of KS1 and 2 and SEND
• Able to run a class of students with SEN effectively.
• Understanding of how to work with children with complexed needs whilst focusing on both their educational and additional needs.
• A passion for the progress of children with complexed needs
• An ability to work as part of a team
