We are searching for qualified and unqualified Teaching Assistants to provide classroom and outdoor support for its pupils. The school caters for pupils aged 4 to 19 years of age with Profound, Severe and Complex learning needs, including Communication and Interaction difficulties. Most pupils have learning difficulties associated with Autism, Speech, Language and Communication and, in addition, some pupils have complex medical conditions.

We are keen to hear from both experienced candidates as well as those who are looking to break into the education sector. If you have experience working with children in any setting, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Experience working with SEN children is of course desirable, however, if you are willing to learn and show a genuine passion for working with SEN children, we are happy to consider those without experience.

We are looking for someone who:
· Has experience working with children in and outside a school setting.
· Experience of working with SEN children is ideal, but not essential
· Has excellent behaviour management skills.
· Possess up to date knowledge of current curriculum.
· Has great communication and rapport building skills.
· Supporting pupils in their education and performance who deal with special educational needs or disabilities.
