I am hiring an experience Deputy Manager with the following description:
Support of the Manager, The Deputy Manager's main role is to support the Manager in all aspects of Nursery matters. They must be conversant with all Childcare Policies and Procedures, the Job Description of the Manager and all other staff, and must be able to manage the Nursery in the absence of the Manager.
Must work as part of the Staff Team and liaise between the staff and the Manager Statutory Requirements.
The Deputy must work with the Manager to ensure the Nursery complies with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.
Must ensure good practice as set out in the EYFS Practice Guidance and must ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations, for example, Health and Safety Law and Employment Law. When deputising, the Deputy Manager must execute the responsibilities of a Nursery Manager according to all lawful and ethical standards. The Manager has responsibility for the Nursery, including out-of-hours, if necessary.
