Classroom Support are excited to be working with a Mainstream Secondary school in the Redhill area.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Learning Support Assistant to support their SEN KS3 & KS4 students. You will be based in the Woodfield Education Centre (WEC); Carrington's SEN facility.

The school in question has fantastic support mechanisms and facilities for their staff, a wonderful and rewarding environment of which is reflected in their Ofsted results.

This is a permanent position and the working days are Monday-Friday term time only. Working hours are 08:30 - 15:20.

Requirements of the Learning Support Assistant role are:

• Support the child mainly on a 1:1 basis and occasionally on in small groups.
• Using your experience of effective behaviour management.
• Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner.
• Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting.
• Holding a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Be willing to participate in lunch-time cover.
• Any experience of running your own interventions is advantageous.
