Tradewind Recruitment are working with a large primary school based in Northfield to recruit for a Primary Teacher, with a specialism in Early Years. The school are looking for a candidate who has UK QTS or Early Years Teaching Status. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fresh and developing senior team who are dedicated to the redevelopment of the school and to upholding high standards of staff wellbeing, as well as providing sustained and high quality CPD for all staff.

The successful candidate would be working alongside another teacher, working collaboratively to develop long, medium and short term plans, monitor and track all children against the EYFS curriculum and prepare the children for the transition from EYFS to Year 1.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• High quality planning and preparation, focused on the highlighted needs of the cohort
• Create a safe, friendly and supportive learning environment for all children
• Ensure detailed and accurate observations are recorded
• Supporting children and parents with the transition from EYFS to Year 1
• Engage with CPD and contribute to the school development strategy

Requirements:

• Must hold UK QTS or Eary Years Teaching Status (EYTS)
• Experience of teaching EYFS and preferably also in KS1
• Be able to provide a full working history
• References to cover the past 5 years of employment
• Understanding of safeguarding and be familiar with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) 2023/4

Those candidates who successfully meet the entry requirements for this role will also be required to show proof of or obtain a DBS certificate (which must be on the update service) and be available to complete a paid work trial at the school.
