Maths Teacher

I am working with a friendly and supportive Secondary school based in High Wycombe who are looking for a Qualified Maths Teacher to start with them from April - July 2024 on a long term contract. A view to go permanent for the right candidate from September 2024.
They are well known for high academic standards, good behaviour, and their strong community spirit including a strong house system with students leading their peers. "Pupils have a positive attitude towards their work and enjoy learning".
They are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher of Mathematics who has a real enthusiasm for the subject and who is capable of teaching across all Key Stages. The post would equally suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher who has obtained a good degree in Mathematics or transferable discipline.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of teaching to Key Stage 3-5
- Have excellent communication skills
- Maintaining lesson planning and preparation
- Checking and assessing school work
- Monitoring extracurricular activities

- Ability to create a highly energetic environment
- Able to think and teach outside the box
- Able to work in a high-pressure environment
- Able to work with a time scale
Qualifications needed
- Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
- Experienced in teaching Science at Key Stages 3-5
- Right to work in the UK
